'I'm sorry that I hurt the United States': Bradley Manning apologizes in court
Wed Aug 14, 2013
Manning just lost all credibility by apologizing. If he believed in what he was doing, then he should have stuck to his guns. Instead of being a true patriot and sacrificing himself for an ethical cause, at the end of the day, he sold out.
Could it be a 'cure'? Breakthrough prompts Down syndrome soul-searching
Thu Aug 8, 2013
Has anyone thought about asking the people with Down syndrome if they would like to be cured? They are people, not animals. Everyone talks about fighting the stigma associated with Down syndrome, but no one seems to think that those with the condition are smart enough to think for themselves. T …

Tue Jul 23, 2013
Depends on what you are trying to build. It's easy to say that you need some flexibility to dissipate the shock, but if you are talking about tall buildings there are other considerations like not making occupants sick in a stiff wind.
Chinese firm paid insider 'to kill my company,' American CEO says
Tue Aug 6, 2013
While the Chinese firm may be partially at fault here, this is tabbed as another story to demonize the Chinese. The bulk of the fault and responsibility here is on American Superconductor and its employee. The employee should be tried for infringement, and the employer should own up to the fact that …
